Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. ground rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp. dried basil
  • 1 Tbsp. dried parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp crystallized lemon 2-3 individual packets

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon each of black pepper, ground rosemary, dried basil, dried parsley, garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes, and 1 teaspoon of crystallized lemon.
  • Once well combined, transfer the mixture to an airtight jar. This blend can be stored in a cool, dry place and will stay fresh for several months.
  • On a small plate, add 1 clove of garlic, minced or pressed. Fresh garlic is optional, but it adds a depth of flavor that makes this Carrabba’s Dipping Seasoning truly special.
  • Take one heaping spoonful of your prepared spice blend and sprinkle it over the garlic. Make sure to stir the mixture lightly, as the spices can settle over time.
  • Drizzle 1-2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil over the spice and garlic mixture. The olive oil will infuse with the spices, creating a rich, aromatic sauce.

Notes

Store leftover Carrabba’s Dipping Sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Since it contains fresh garlic, it’s best to use it within 2-3 days to maintain optimal flavor and freshness. Before serving again, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes and give it a good stir to re-emulsify the oil and spices.
