Ingredients

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil preferably from Italy
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt to taste
  • 2 garlic cloves grated or minced
  • 1-2 tbsp fresh grated Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions

  • Begin by gathering all your ingredients. If you prefer, you can use a garlic press to mince the garlic, or grate it finely using a small grater.
  • In a shallow bowl or plate, combine the extra virgin olive oil with the dried rosemary, parsley, oregano, onion powder, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt. Stir gently to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Grate or mince the garlic cloves and add them to the mixture. Stir again to distribute the garlic evenly. For an extra layer of flavor, sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of fresh grated Parmesan cheese into the dip. This adds a rich, nutty taste that complements the herbs perfectly.
  • Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning as needed. If you prefer a bit more kick, add extra red pepper flakes or black pepper. For a saltier dip, sprinkle a bit more salt or Parmesan cheese.
  • Your Carrabba’s Olive Oil Dip is now ready to be enjoyed! Serve it with slices of warm, crusty bread, and watch it disappear as your guests indulge.
