Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp. black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp. dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tbsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic clove
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  • Start by setting up your workspace. You’ll need a mixing bowl and measuring spoons to ensure each herb is perfectly portioned. Having an airtight container ready is also a good idea for storing any leftover mix.
  • Measure out each ingredient—crushed red pepper flakes, black pepper, dried oregano, dried rosemary, dried basil, dried parsley, garlic powder, minced garlic clove, and salt. Add them all to your mixing bowl.
  • Use a spoon to thoroughly combine the ingredients in the bowl. Ensure the garlic and herbs are evenly distributed throughout the mix. The aroma alone will be enough to make your mouth water!
  • For a classic Carrabba’s experience, serve 1 tablespoon of the herb mix with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Pair it with a fresh loaf of crusty bread, and enjoy the delightful dip.
  • If you have leftover herb mix, store it in an airtight container. Keep it in a cool, dry place, and it should stay fresh for up to a month.
