Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. dried garlic
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • ½ cup high-quality olive oil

Instructions

  • Combine equal parts of dried rosemary, parsley, oregano, basil, kosher salt, and fresh ground black pepper in a mixing bowl. Add the dried garlic and crushed red pepper. For a milder version, use less crushed red pepper as desired.
  • If you have a mortar and pestle, use it to grind the herbs and spices into a finer blend. This will help release their flavors more effectively. If not, a spice grinder or a simple whisk will do. Pour the olive oil into a small bowl or plate.
  • Stir the minced garlic into the olive oil. The garlic will help to bind the spices together and add an extra layer of flavor.
  • Sprinkle the herb and spice mixture onto the plate with the olive oil. Mix gently to combine. Cut up pieces of your favorite bread and dip them into the seasoned olive oil. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftover Carrabba’s bread dipping oil in an airtight container or jar in the refrigerator. This helps preserve the freshness of the olive oil and the potency of the garlic and herbs. Before using, allow it to come to room temperature and give it a good stir to redistribute the flavors.
